Not again
Somehow awake after just two hours
And pushed to the edge of the bed:
Aggressive bed "sharer" friend
Sleep is urgent for the day's events
But I can't seem to snatch any
With three others in the room
Now the familiar process begins
Staring up at darkness
Waiting for light to trickle in
Pale and watery, through the curtains
Waiting to exhaustion to hit
When the time to sleep is passed, and gone.
